UPDATE: Today's Nintendo Direct Mini has confirmed that EarthBound will indeed be available today, July 18, on the Wii U eShop for $9.99. The K-A rating was replaced with the E (Everyone) rating, but it has now received a T (Teen) rating. When it was originally released in North America on the SNES, it was given a K-A (Kids to Adults) rating. For example, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara was originally listed as a June 18 release, but its release is now TBA.ĮarthBound has also received a new rating from the ESRB. These listing are, unfortunately, not completely reliable. However, an official announcement has yet to be made.
The classic Super Nintendo RPG is currently listed on Nintendo of America’s website, as well as the European eShop with a release date of July 18. EarthBound may be showing up on the Wii U eShop today, July 18.
